By accessing or using the website at masonryredwoodcity.com (the "Site"), or by engaging Redwood City Masonry & Concrete ("we," "us," or "our") for any services, you agree to be bound by these Terms and Conditions. If you do not agree, please do not use the Site or request services.
These terms apply to all visitors to the Site and to all customers who engage us for work. We may update these terms at any time. Continued use of the Site or our services after an update means you accept the revised terms.
Redwood City Masonry & Concrete is a licensed masonry contractor providing residential and commercial masonry and concrete services in Redwood City, CA and surrounding Peninsula cities. Our services include, but are not limited to, foundation repair, chimney repair, tuckpointing, brick repair, retaining wall construction, and related masonry work.
All work is performed by our team or by subcontractors we select and supervise. We do not guarantee availability for any specific job or timeframe until a written agreement is signed.
Estimates provided by Redwood City Masonry & Concrete are based on the information available at the time of the assessment. An estimate is not a fixed contract price until both parties have signed a written agreement. If conditions discovered during the work differ materially from what was observed during the estimate - such as hidden damage, structural issues, or soil conditions - we will notify you before proceeding and provide a written change order.
We provide free on-site estimates at no obligation to the customer. Requesting an estimate does not commit you to any work.
Pricing may change if the scope of work changes. All scope changes require a written change order signed by both parties before additional work begins.
Scheduling is confirmed after a written agreement is signed. We make reasonable efforts to begin work on the agreed start date. Delays due to weather, permit processing, material availability, or circumstances outside our control do not constitute a breach of agreement.
If you need to cancel or reschedule a confirmed job, please notify us as early as possible. Cancellations made after materials have been ordered or after mobilization costs have been incurred may result in a cancellation fee, which will be itemized in the written agreement.
We reserve the right to reschedule or decline work at our discretion, including for safety reasons or if site conditions are unsuitable for masonry work.
Payment terms are specified in the written agreement for each job. In accordance with California law, we do not require a deposit exceeding 10% of the contract price or $1,000, whichever is less, before work begins on a home improvement contract, unless materials must be ordered specifically for your job.
Final payment is due upon completion of the work as described in the written agreement, unless a different payment schedule is agreed to in writing. Late payments may be subject to interest charges as permitted by California law.
We accept payment by check, cash, and any other methods listed in the written agreement. Invoices are provided for all completed work.
For work that requires a building permit under the applicable local or state building code, we will apply for and obtain the necessary permits on your behalf. Permit fees are either included in the written agreement or billed separately as a pass-through cost. We do not perform permitted work without the required permits in place.
You are responsible for ensuring that the property is accessible to city or county inspectors when required. We will coordinate inspection scheduling with the applicable authority.
We provide a written warranty on structural masonry work as specified in the written agreement. Warranty terms vary by job type. Surface repairs, cosmetic work, and non-structural jobs may carry shorter warranty periods or no warranty, which will be disclosed in the agreement.
The warranty covers defects in workmanship under normal use and conditions. It does not cover damage caused by:
